Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Thursday, April 25th

Cocktails anyone? The Mere Inn has its 'Cocktail Takeover' -  Three Wrens distillery will be showcasing their award- winning range and creating beautiful bespoke cocktails. Tickets are limited and priced at £25 and include four cocktails per person.

At Alsager Golf & Country Club, saxophonist Andy Scott will be performing a night of Latin jazz alongside his close friend and colleague, Paul Kilvington from 8 pm until 10 pm. The cost is £7 and it's one not to be missed.

Enjoy dancing? Alsager Civic has the 'Thursday Social Dances' from 7.45 pm until 10.15 pm. Enjoy a mix of ballroom, Latin American and sequence dancing. 

Friday, April 26th

Bod Alsager has live music from 7.30 pm in the lounge bar with Henry Myles.

There's live music at The Mere Inn with Wayne and the Hairy Peaches at 8.30 pm.

Do you like brass band music? There's a free event at Alsager Civic at 7.30 pm featuring the Lions Debut Band, Lions Academy Band and Lions Youth Brass.  All bands will be playing their programmes from from National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain. 

Looking for a book to chill with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Saturday, April 27th

It's Alsager Craft & Gift fair at Alsager Civic from 9 am until 1 pm. A range of local artisans, crafters, designers and small businesses, all selling items you really can't find on the high street. Free admission.

Rode Hall's famous bluebell walks are on today, tomorrow and Wednesday (April 24th) as we revealed in our story here

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Sunday, April 28th

It's Alsager Town Council's Civic Awards at Alsager Civic from 6 pm until 8 pm. Groups and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to Alsager will receive awards. .

Monday, April 29th

Fancy getting fit as well as meeting new friends? Dance teacher, Mark Farrugia is at Alsager Civic with his Strictly Dance Fit classes from 6 pm until 7 pm. Here's a story we wrote about him here
