Organisations and individuals making a significant contribution set to receive awards this weekend

Groups and individuals are set to be reward this weekend - for making an outstanding contribution to Alsager.
Alsager Town Council is holding its Civic Awards on Sunday (28th April) from 6 pm until 8 pm.
Awards will be given in the following categories:
VOLUNTEER AWARD
COMMUNITY AWARD
GREAT NEIGHBOUR AWARD
CARER AWARD
THE GREEN AWARD
THE ANIMAL AWARD
YOUTH CIVIC AWARD
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
We ran an earlier story here asking for nominations to be made to the Mayor, Councillor Jane Hearne.
