Alsager residents invited to discover local group retreats to Norway and South America
By The Editor 24th Sep 2026
Fancy the Northern Lights over a Norwegian fjord, or a South American adventure with a group of people who'll become genuine friends?
Alsager residents can find out how at a free discovery session on Saturday, 3 October, hosted by Blue Lotus Yoga's Jill Amison and local Travel Counsellor Sara Dickenson.
Jill and Sara have teamed up to bring two brand new retreats to life: one exploring Norway in March 2027, and another journeying through South America in November 2027.
And here's the bit that surprises people most: you don't need to have ever set foot on a yoga mat to come along.
"These retreats aren't about being brilliant at yoga, or even having tried it before," said Sara. "They're about connecting with likeminded people and seeing some of the most incredible places in the world together, with all the comfort and ease that comes from travelling as part of a group. Whether you come on your own or bring a friend, you'll leave with people you'll want to travel with again and again. That's really the whole point."
Jill's retreats are known locally for their warmth, inclusivity and authenticity, and this pairing with Sara's travel expertise means the trips are fully organised, from the moment you land to the moment you fly home, leaving guests free to simply relax and be part of the group.

The discovery session is a relaxed, no-pressure chance to hear more about both trips. Spaces at the session are limited. Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot.
