Thursday, 28 May
The Linley Tavern has a quiz night at 8pm. £1 to play!
The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has its weekly Jazz Club. Alsager Jazz Club runs from 8 pm until 10 pm. It's £10 on the door.
Trumpeter and flugelhorn player, John Hulme, makes his debut appearance at the club. John is known for his warm, lyrical style which has made him a familiar face on the Greater Manchester jazz scene.
He is admired for his mellow, expressive sound - drawing inspiration from players such as Tom Harrell and Chet Baker. It's £10 on the door.
The Lawton Arms in Church Lawton has its Thursday poker night from 8 pm until 11 pm. All welcome!
Friday, 29 May
The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has Alsager's Rob Wheeler presenting his Nashville Country Music Show. Award-winning singer-songwriter Rob Wheeler grew up in Alsager and has a string of awards to his name including British Country Music Association Horizon Artist of the Year Awards at the infamous Cavern Club in Liverpool.
Rob is a prominent voice, musician, songwriter and producer in the country music scene, splitting time between his Cheshire home and his established Nashville connections.
He has had three number one albums and a string of top twenty singles including his 2025 album "Leave Tomorrow" which was a commercial success.
The songs were featured in across the BBC, Country Line and Absolute Radio Country. Rob is one of only a small handful of UK-based members of the official Country Music Association in Nashville and has worked with a string of Grammy and Hall of Fame songwriters.
Saturday, 30 May
The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has Spencer Jordan as Buddy Holly. Tickets are £8 for members and £10 for guests.
