All aboard – pull on your dancing shoes and get in the groove!

Motown fans are being invited to a night of soulful gems as the 'Soul Train' steams into Alsager at Alsager Civic.

Harking back to the days when the dance floor was king, the show features a fun presentation of 60s and 70s soul classics.

From the early soul days of Tamla Motown, Stax and Atlantic records though to disco and beyond, the show brings on the good times.

Featured in a fun 'feel good production' are classic hit songs by - Stevie Wonder, Isley Brothers, Supremes, Gladys Knight, O'Jays Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and more.

Show producer and performer Wayne Kennedy said: "It's our first visit to Alsager so we're really looking forward to it.

"Stoke has always been a big soul city so I hope Alsager will be too!"
