School's almost out for children in Alsager and beyond and the summer holidays can be a long six weeks to get through until the start of the new school year.

Finding things to do every day and places to go with children from now until September can be both taxing and costly but Alsager Civic has come up with the solution!

They have devised an action-packed programme of both educational and fun activities to keep children of all ages occupied and entertained.

And once more, not only have the activities been designed to be as appealing to children as possible, they have also been designed to be as purse friendly as possible.

Do you have a budding David Bellamy or Alan Ticthmarsh? The fun starts on Wednesday, July 23rd from 10 am until 12 noon with a seed planting plus arts and crafts event for children. It's a free event and there's no need to book - just turn up.

Most children love sport and on July 28th there's a chance for children of all ages to burn off some energy with a multi-sports drop-off events. Agility, balance, co-ordination, teamwork, leadership and resilience will all be covered in the event (detailed below).

Ages four - five and six to eleven are catered for as well as a second group ages six - 11.
