The role is for a HR Operations Manager in Sandbach.
The role is for an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead a Human Resources Operations team. You will play a critical role in delivering the Workforce Strategy, ensuring that both the Council and Schools have the right people in the right roles at the right time. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR Operations team to provide strategic HR support to both the Council and Schools.
- Offer strategic HR operational advice, supporting key priorities and service delivery.
- Manage HR support services for schools buying into the HR Schools' Consultancy service.
- Provide guidance on organizational change, including service redesign and senior recruitment.
- Develop and implement workforce and operational action plans to improve performance and capacity.
- Foster partnerships and joint working arrangements to enhance service delivery and realize financial savings.
- Oversee consultation and negotiation with Trade Unions on HR Operations matters.
- Provide expert oversight in escalated HR cases and complex employee relations to ensure legal compliance.
- Drive income generation plans and explore new revenue streams for the HR service.
- Manage HR Operations budgets, ensuring effective resource use and best value.
- Act as the lead representative for the Transactional Service Centre, ensuring service delivery per agreements.
- Deputize for the Head of Human Resources when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).
- Extensive experience in HR, including strategic leadership, employee relations, and organizational change.
- Proven experience in HR business partnering and team management.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and partnership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Swift is looking for a senior developer to work in Sandbach on a full-time basis. The salary is £33,000 - £42,000 per year.

Tasks will include fitting floors, panelling, seating, tables, windows and doors in the interior of rolling stock. Electrical tasks may include Installation and replacement of traction and rolling stock components, carrying out modifications in and ability to install and terminate vehicle control wiring harnesses.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Carry out vehicle maintenance work as allocated by the Team Leader, Heavy Maintenance Manager or Production Engineer within set timescales and standards. Operate rail vehicles as required, within depot operating limits, and in accordance with relevant procedures. Break raft replacement, alternator replacement, coupler replacement, bellow change. C4, C6, C8 or C10 maintenance. Refurbishment and modifications Seat removal, table removal, fitment of USB sockets, lighting replacement, relay replacement, component replacement from within the cab. Painting and modifications were required.
Ensure that safety procedures are adhered to in accordance with VMI. Ensure that work sheets are signed off promptly and correctly. Ensure that Quality and Environmental procedures and instructions are followed Attend technical, quality, safety and general briefings, taking action on items raised. Carry out any duties within level of competence, as requested. Always maintain good housekeeping and standard of cleanliness.
Use PPE in accordance with standards and instructions. Assist colleagues and management to ensure project targets are met. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Qualifications You must have a minimum of or equivalent to one of the following qualifications:o BTEC certificate in Engineeringo City and Guilds certificate in Engineeringo NVQ Level 3 certificate in Engineering Traction and rolling stock qualification preferred. Skills and Experience Must have previous experience, involvement and understanding of vehicle heavy maintenance activities. Able to interpret engineering drawings Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering Basic IT skills
