NeuroSupport services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants for Alsager with a background of brain Injury and mental health experience to support services users with an acquired brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates, support workers and healthcare assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community.
We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Hourly Rate: £12-£14 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: Wednesday: 17.00 pm - 21.00 pm
Friday: 17.00 pm - 21.00 pm
Saturday: 14:00 pm - 22:00 pm
Weekend work will be alternative weeks/not every week. On occasion (probably once per month) Sleep-in shift (17:00pm 08:00am the next morning)
About you-Essential Experience:
Our client is seeking a support worker to assist him in participating in social activities, both within the home and in the community. This will involve assisting with transfers, eating, drinking and toileting, and working alongside the independent occupational therapist and physiotherapist. Ideally, we are looking for someone enthusiastic and physically active, who enjoys participating in meals out, pop concerts, and is willing to offer occasional sleep-in shifts, when required, which may include overnight stays (nightclubs, weekends away or providing respite to the client's family).
About our client:
Our client is a 24 year old male, that is looking for someone to assist him in accessing the community, and participating in daily activities, both within the home and in the community. The client has cerebral palsy, affecting all four limbs, and is a wheelchair user. Due to the client s mobility difficulties, there are some challenges involved when transferring him in/out of his wheelchair. However, training will be provided. The successful candidate will need to be confident in driving and operating a large wheelchair accessible vehicle.

The Food Safety Consultant will have: - Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the food and drinks manufacturing and distribution industry. - A Level 6 Health and Safety qualification (or be working towards it).
Experience in machine safety, workplace transport, and working at height within a manufacturing environment. - Flexibility to travel across the UK with regular stays away from home.
