A police helicopter was spotted by residents in the Rode Heath and Alsager area today (Wednesday) after two teenage boys were reported missing.

The helicopter completed several circles of the area in a bid to track down the two boys.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "On Tuesday 4th March, two teenage boys were reported missing from the Rode Heath and Alsager areas.

"Officers, assisted by the police helicopter, completed searches of the area. Both boys were located safe and well."
