Police close main road in Alsager following reports of an accident with boy on a bike

Police closed the main road going through Alsager last night following an accident with a cyclist.

Traffic was diverted at around 7pm in Lawton Road for most of the evening following an accident which reportedly involved a boy.

Reports say the air ambulance was involved and landed at Alsager Cricket Club.
