A 85-year-old man has abseiled down the outside of the famous Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to raise money for Alsager Sub Aqua Club.
Eric Pemberton abseiled 100m down the tower on Saturday (August 23rd) to raise money for a new kit to train youngsters aged 12 or over to learn to safely scuba dive with the club.

Alsager Sub Aqua Club has congratulated brave Eric saying: "We all knew you would do it. All for a fantastic cause fundraising for the divers of the future. If anyone would like to donate there is still time."

Eric has set up a Crowfunder appeal which has already raised £395 but donations are still coming in. Follow the link here to make a donation.
Well done Eric!
