Ever wondered what goes into running a train station and how you can make the most of local links and facilities?

East Midlands Railway and the North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership are holding a 'Meet the Manager' event at Kidsgrove Railway Station.

The event takes place on Tuesday, April 23rd from 7 am until noon and involves representatives from rail and bus operators.

A spokesperson said: "Have you seen the new lifts and passenger bridge? There is a guided station site and garden tours from 10 am."

There will also be free teas and coffees and everyone is welcome.
