Former Alsager entertainment venue and pub looks set to become a children's day care nursery
A popular Alsager pub and entertainment venue which closed its doors recently looks set to become a children's nursery.
A sign has gone up at the former Bank Corner in Lawton Road saying 'Hatchlings' day care nursery for children aged five and under is "opening soon".
A post on Hatchlings' Social Media page reveals it is opening on Tuesday, April 11th.
The Facebook page, link here, https://www.facebook.com/Hatchlings-Of-Alsager-120529020987090, also says the new nursery is opening on April 11th.
Hatchlings say the nursery and pre-school is on two floors, making two different settings personalised to the age range.

"We find that our children and families benefit from a more personal approach and that we are able to help prepare our children for school in a group setting, whilst providing a homely nurturing environment."
They add: "We have designed our facilities to inspire children to have fun and enjoy learning.
"We have lots of unique facilities, including our indoor gardens, sensory rooms, role play village and much more.
"Hatchlings Nursery in Alsager is easily accessed from Sandbach, Kidsgrove, Audley and surrounding areas due to the location being so close to the A500 and also the M6 J16.
"We will accept all free funding children and tax-free childcare. If you're not sure how to apply for this, please let us know and we will help."
The Bank Corner in Lawton Road had been an entertainment venue and pub in the town for many years.
Just over two weeks' ago, it closed its doors for the final time after a Mother's Day event featuring an Elvis entertainer as revealed here: https://alsager.nub.news/news/local-news/popular-alsager-pub-and-entertainment-venue-in-the-centre-of-the-town-closes-176727
