Firefighters tackle oven fire in Church Lawton

Firefighters were called to a house in Church Lawton to put out a blaze involving an oven.

Three fire engines went to Knowsley Lane at 4.47 pm on Saturday (September 24th) to attend to the incident including one from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving an oven."
