Firefighters rescue calf trapped behind a high wall near Alsager

A 12-week-old calf was rescued by a fire crew after it became trapped behind a four-foot high wall. 

One fire engine from Alsager went to the incident in Nursery Road, Oakhanger on Friday (May 17th) at 9.56 pm.  

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "... the a 12-week-old calf had become trapped in an indoor area behind a four-foot high wall. 

"The calf was lifted over the wall and appeared to be fit and healthy."
