Fire engines from Crewe and Alsager went to a fire in Elm Grove, Alsager.

The fire happened at 6.55 pm last night (Sunday) in Elm Grove.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Service said: "When firefighters arrived they discovered a fire burning waste which they extinguished with a hose reel jet. No property is believed to have been affected."
