Firefighters used water backpack to extinguish chimney breast fire in Alsager

One fire engine and the Rapid Response Rescue Unit from Alsager went to a fire in a chimney breast in Coronation Avenue, Alsager.

Firefighters were called to the incident at 8.22 pm last night (12 April).

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "Crews used a water backpack to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots."
