Combine harvester catches fire setting grass ablaze

Firefighters were called to Merelake Road after a combine harvester set on fire affecting nearby grass.

They were called to the incident at 2.38 pm on Friday (31 July).

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A small fire within a combine harvester that affected an area of nearby grass was extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel."
