One fire engine from Sandbach went to a rubbish blaze in Church Lawton over the weekend.

Firefighters were called to a blaze in Liverpool Road West at 4.11 pm on Saturday (20 September).

A spokesperson from Cheshire fire & Rescue Service said: "A fire involving rubbish was extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel."
