Fire service called after smell of smoke detected in a car in Alsager

Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to check a car battery after the smell of smoke was found in a car.
One fire engine from Alsager went to the incident at 5.47 pm in Sandbach Road North yesterday (Thursday).
A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "A smell of smoke in a car required firefighters to check a battery with a thermal imaging camera."
