The Vault's Brad Lancaster raises over £21,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

The Vault's director and executive chef has raised an amazing £21,140 for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of his late grandmother.
During Brad's time at the former Caster's in Alsager, his nan, Pat Simkin, would often drop in to enjoy her favourite meal cooked by Brad there - fish and chips - keen to see her grandson's career flourishing.

And Brad, who worked at top-class restaurants such as Gordon Ramsay's, has completed an 80 mile run leaving Alsager in the early hours of the morning to run along the canals and paths through Sandbach, Congleton and Macclesfield and back to Alsager.
The run, and the Manchester half-marathon which he did a few weeks before, were in memory of his late nan who sadly died from lung cancer last August.

He set up a JustGiving page here for Macmillan Cancer Support for the run which currently stands at £21,140 and donations are still flooding in.
He said: "Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they've got. If you're diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan's worries.

"Macmillan's doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can't support everyone who needs them"
