By Deborah Bowyer   24th Nov 2025

Record numbers of people flocked to see Alsager's Christmas lights switch on last night (Sunday).

A huge turnout saw a new-look event which included two live perforances from singer and musician, Jon Stevens opening the event at 3.30 pm followed by powerhouse vocalist Ben Staz then DJ Dan on the stage.

This year the stage was sponsored by estate agents, Stephenson Browne in Alsager, who handed out goody bags and also joined the Round Table chairman Daz Antrobus and others on stage for the countdown.

Crowds flocked to see the array of stalls both inside Alsager Civic an also along Lawton Road and Sandbach Road South.
