Car overturned yesterday but occupants escaped without injury

Motorists faced delays after a car overturned on the B5077 yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

Police say there were no injuries in the accident on the Barthomley Road which happened at 3.30 pm.

A Cheshire police spokesperson said: "At 3.30pm on January 29th, police were made aware of a collision on Barthomley Road, near Crewe.

"Officers attended and found a red Daihatsu Sirion had overturned. There were no injuries."

An eyewitness at the scene told Nub News: "Thankfully no one was injured."
