Calling all actors and actresses or back stage crew – would you like a part in a production at Little Moreton Hall this summer?

Alsager Community Theatre is presenting Nell Gwynne at the historic house between Congleton and Sandbach.

Nell Gwynne was an actress and famous for being the long-time mistress of King Charles II.

Alsager Community Theatre is holding a pre-audition workshop tonight (Wednesday 23rd) at the Alsager Institute in Green Drive, Alsager.

The pre-audition takes place from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm and auditions will take place Tuesday and Thursday next week (March 29th and March 31st) at the Institute.

A spokesperson said: "We extend a cordial welcome to any would be actors or backstage crew who may be interested. Hope to see you there!"

The production will take place on 7th - 9th July and July 14th - 16th.
