Police issue appeal for information after person assaulted at Alsager train station

Police have issued an appeal for information following an assault at Alsager train station. 

British Transport Police say they received a report of an assault at the station just after 6 pm last Thursday (April 4th). 

A spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating a report of an assault at Alsager railway station that occurred just after 6pm on 4th April. 

"Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 405040 quoting reference 331 of 05/04/24."
