Alsager's Lodge Inn crowned South Cheshire Pub of the Year for fourth year running

An Alsager pub has picked up a coveted award again - for the fourth year running.
The Lodge Inn in Crewe Road has won CAMRA's South Cheshire Pub of the Year. Last year, the pub made it into The Telegraph's expert guide to the 500 Best Pubs in England as we revealed here .
Now the pub, popular with regulars for its cask ale offering, is waiting to hear when the award will be presented.
A spokesperson said on Social Media: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for all their support and our amazing staff.
"I know Carl would be very proud of us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for all their support and lour amazing staff.
"All details of the presentation will be posted when we know."
