Alsager woman arrested in relation to ongoing fraud investigation at Congleton care home

A 53-year-old woman from Alsager was arrested in relation to a fraud investigation at a care home in Congleton where residents are reportedly the victims.

Cheshire Police's investigation relating to Heliosa Care and Nursing Home, on Boundary Lane, Mossley, remains ongoing.

As part of their enquiries, officers arrested a 53-year-old woman from Alsager on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position; fraud by false representation; theft and conversion of criminal property.

She has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
