A networking organisation for women in Alsager has raised a bumper amount to help cancer sufferers in Cheshire.

Alsager Tangent has handed over £2,000 to St Luke's Hospice - the past chairman's charity for the year 2025/26.

A spokesperson for Alsager Tangent said: "We were pleased to welcome Rachel, a representative from St Luke's, who gave us a really interesting talk about the incredible work they do within our community.

"It was wonderful to learn more about how St Luke's is so much more than just a hospice - from respite care and art therapy, to their network of charity shops and the many ways they support patients and families.

"A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising throughout the year and helped make this donation possible."
