Alsager School's Year 11 students will stay at home today (Monday) after the school was informed of a positive Covid-19 case.

The school was notified yesterday (Sunday) evening of a positive coronavirus case in Year 11 and has taken advice and took the precautionary measure.

A spokesperson for Alsager School said: "We will be investigating this further with Public Health England and Cheshire East.

"We will continue to communicate throughout the day on Monday.

"Year 11 should access their emails for work from their class teachers."
