Every December, Alsager Round Table tour the area with Santa collecting money that they use throughout the rest of the year to support the staging of local events and local groups.

And this year they have raised a bumper £10,042.61 all of which will go to local causes and local charities.

A spokesperson for Alsager Round Table previously said: "A wave from Santa is a childhood memory that many of us have

"Thank you for all your generous donations. All money raised will go to local charities and good causes. We wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year from everyone at Alsager Round Table."

The Santa float tour started on December 1st and finished on December 19th.
