An Alsager pub has organised an impressive line-up to keep residents entertained over the Christmas and New Year period.

The Mere Inn in Crewe Road is renowned for its old worlde charm and hospitality and over Christmas this will be up for grabs along with entertainment.

On Christmas Eve, there's some light relief from any last-minute Christmas shopping with The Mere open from 2pm until 11.30 pm.

Fancy putting the turkey in and having a pint or glass of wine on Christmas Day? The Mere is open from 12 pm until 2 pm.

And on Boxing Day, the festivities continue with the pub open from 3 pm until 10.30 pm then on New Year's Even there's a special celebration.

There's an 'early doors' Sunday session with a live acoustic set from Gav Allport playing from 5pm until 7 pm. Last orders are at 8 pm as the pub is closed for the evening.

On New Year's Day The Mere will have its roaring fire going again – great for residents to pop in after their first walk of 2024! The pub is open from 12 pm until 6 pm.
