A group set up to help stroke survivors in Alsager and Crewe has released details of its activities for 2023.

And the founder of the group, Liz Bedson, has said a big thank you to those who have helped and the members who have signed up.

The Alsager branch of the Stroke Survivors Speech and Language Support group was launched in May.

It now meets on Thursday mornings from 10.30 am until 12 noon at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue,

Liz who founded the Crewe one before getting the Alsager one set up said: "We have had a wonderful, fun packed year.

"Thank you again for all your support in 2022 and here's to an even better 2023.

"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year."

The Alsager group starts back on Thursday, January 6th and has a varied list of activities including a trial event at Richmond Village in Nantwich and a photo show event.

In February, the Alsager group can look forward to "stand strong" with Kate and "musical moments" with Vicky.

Later on in the year, a visit to Reaseheath Zoo is planned along with a canal day trip organised with the Vale of Llangollen Canal Trust.

"We welcome new members and volunteers at any time. If you would like any information about our group, please email strokesurvivorgroup@gmail
