Good causes benefit from Alsager's annual Christmas window display competition

An Alsager flower shop has scooped first place in this year's annual Christmas window competition.

And an estate agency and letting agency has won second place in the popular hard-fought competition.

 Stephenson Brown Lettings was runner-up

Alsager Food Bank, Dougie Mac and Headway are all to benefit from the competition which sees businesses create eye-catching festive displays.

A panel of five judges from Alsager Partnership and Alsager Town Council took a look around the town checking out the windows.   

Flower Passion in Lawton Road won first place with second place given to Stephenson Browne Lettings in Crewe Road. 

Joint third place Home Studio & Coffee

They nominated Alsager Food Bank who are to receive £100.

Joint third place winners were Home Coffee & Studio who nominated Dougie Mac who are to receive £50 and Clarity & Radiance in Lawton Road who nominated Headway who will receive £50.

A spokesperson from the judging panel said: "We would love to thank all the businesses who entered.

"It was a tough job choosing and thanks for making our town so special. The entries keep getting better every year."
