Alsager gets ready to stage its annual music festival set to be bigger and better
By Deborah Bowyer 7th Jul 2026
Alsager will be alive with the sound of music this weekend - when this year's Alsager Music Festival comes to town.
Alsager Music Festival started in 2009, "as a way to provide young people with a summer event to fill the long holidays" and a chance for musicians to perform at a free music festival.
Now the annual event, which takes place at Milton Park on Saturday (11 July) and at various pubs on Sunday (12 July) , has grown and grown. It has a dedicated website here

It's now attended by around 4,000 people, watching hours of music across various stages and puts the town on the map with its 'mini Glastonbury'.
The event is organised by a group of local musicians, music enthusiasts, members of Alsager Round Table and various others.

Saturday's festival centres on Milton Park with music in four venues - the marquee, concrete, sunken garden and Stath's stage while the festival continues on Sunday at various pubs around Alsager.

Organisers said: "The festival is completely run by volunteers and is non-profit making. Any money raised is given to local charitable causes or returned to organising the next year's event."

Tickets cost £3.50 for under five year olds, £11.20 for under 18s and £14.50 for over 18s and are available here
