Alsager flies the flag and celebrates Cheshire Day 2022

Residents in Alsager can be forgiven for noticing a different flag flying today.

Alsager Town Council is celebrating Cheshire Day 2022 and flying the Cheshire flag.

Alsager Town Council said: Cheshire Day 2022 Cheshire Day is an opportunity to promote everything local in Cheshire to both local and national audiences.

"To celebrate Cheshire Day on Wednesday, 30 March 2022, Alsager Town Council will be flying the flag."

Alsager chairperson, Cllr Michael Unett said: "It's a great opportunity to promote the great county which we live in and we're delighted to take part."
