Alsager family celebrate after winning their 20th gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower show

An Alsager based family is celebrating - after striking gold again and winning a top medal at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower show.
The Hart family, who run Harts Nursery based in Smallwood near Sandbach, have been awarded their 20th gold medal at the prestigious flower show.

And one member of the family was lucky enough to meet not only Alan Titchmarsh but also David Beckham who has some of the Harts' bulbs in his Cotswold garden.
"I had a quick chat with both which was great," said Victoria Hart, who moved to the area from the south a while back.
"I absolutely love Alsager. Our children go to local schools here and the community is so supportive in what we do. People are so friendly in Alsager."

The Hart family, all of whom live in Alsager, said they were "absolutely overjoyed" to announce that they had been awarded their 20th Gold Medal.
"This incredible milestone marks two decades at the show of passion, dedication, and the highest standard of horticultural excellence—and we couldn't be prouder," they said.
"Winning Gold once is an honour. Winning it twenty times at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is a true celebration of consistency, craftsmanship, and love for what we do.

"At the heart of our success is one thing: our lilies. This year's display once again placed these elegant, vibrant blooms centre stage—celebrating both their timeless beauty and the innovation we bring to every variety we grow."
But the Hart family say the award represents a "team effort". "Behind every flower in our exhibit is a team of hard-working, passionate individuals who pour their hearts into everything they do.

"Our Gold Medal is a result of the care, creativity, and commitment from our dedicated team," they said.
"Our display of lilies was once again recognised by RHS judges for its quality, creativity and impact – and we couldn't be more thrilled."
