An Alsager bar has been sold to a new owner and looks set for a revamp.

Sharon Rigby and Martin Snee closed their doors on Alsager's Bar 6 recently for the last time.

The couple have run the popular Crewe Road bar since September 2018 but have moved on to new adventures, to allow them to spend more time together.

Sharon is already a familiar face in the town, managing the Headway charity shop in Sandbach Road South.

Alsager Nub News ran a story about Sharon's work at Headway link here: https://alsager.nub.news/news/local-news/up-close-meet-a-charity-shop-manager-and-her-mum-who-are-helping-head-injury-victims-163895

Her partner, Martin, has gone back to doing fencing and landscaping which he has done for many years and is well-known in the area.

"Myself and Martin have sold the bar because we wanted to spend more time together," said Sharon.

"Our adventures are spending time together and with our family and travelling. The guy who has had the bar off us has said he is doing some renovations."

Sharon's partner, Martin, has launched MS Fencing and Property Maintenance Services.

Alsager Nub News wishes Sharon and Martin the best of luck in their new ventures.
