Alsager Community Theatre are in the process of producing two amateur feature films and they are on the lookout for cast members.

For 'A Christmas Carol', they are looking for someone to join the cast as the Undertaker. The Undertaker is a "cunning" middle-aged male character who features in two scenes that they intend to film locally to Cheshire in late June.

The theatre is also rehearsing an open-air production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and are looking for someone to join the cast as Theseus.

If you have a playing age between 30 to 50, a "strong stage presence" and are based locally to Alsager then the theatre would love to hear from you.

The performance dates are 5th to 6th and 15th-16th July 2021.

A young woman between 18 to 25 is being sought for the role of Belinda Cratchit to join the "classic lovable" lower middle class Dickensian Cratchit family in the feature film adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol'.

For Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' the Hippolyta role is available. This role would be suitable for people aged 18 or over and located close to Alsager.

In the Christmas Carol, the community theatre is searching for a caring man between the playing age of 30-40 to join the film to play Belle's Husband.

Founded in 1973 Alsager Community Theatre is an award-winning amateur dramatics company which has been providing quality entertainment to Alsager and the surrounding areas for decades.

If you are interested in any of the production roles, contact Alsager Community Theatre through their Facebook page.
