An Alsager-based family-run bed showroom has opened another branch.

The M6 Bed Warehouse has opened its doors in Macclesfield following its expansion into Northwich.

Company director Louis Mitchell couldn't be happier with how things have gone so far.

He said: "We've been absolutely blown away by the response from the local community.

"Macclesfield is a fantastic town, and we're incredibly proud to now be part of it.

"We hope to make a positive contribution to the area for many years to come."

M6 Beds was founded by Louis' father, Jeff Mitchell, in 2001, starting out in a modest 1,000 sq ft warehouse in Alsager.

Over the next decade, the business grew significantly, expanding into a 12,000 sq ft store.

Jeff's sons joined the team and in 2024, M6 Beds opened a second store, in Northwich.

Following this success, they decided to expand again, with the Macclesfield branch first announced back in March. It takes over the unit previously home to Tile Giant, near B&Q.

Louis added: "We're delighted with how the store has turned out. We've worked hard to create a welcoming, relaxed environment where customers can browse at their own pace, without any pressure, while benefiting from expert advice whenever they need it.

"It's an exciting milestone for the business, and we're looking forward to sharing our knowledge, experience and passion for helping people sleep better with customers across Macclesfield and the surrounding areas."
