A locked-down Remembrance Sunday commemoration in Alsager

By Tom Avery 10th Nov 2020

A short service with the Royal British Legion, veterans and wreath layers was held at the Alsager cenotaph to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

Alsager remembered safely in a small service led by Rev Michelle Goodrich and wreath laying by the local organisations including Cllr Rod Fletcher, chair of Alsager Town Council and Stewart Waring, chairman of the Alsager branch of the Royal British Legion.

Wreaths can be laid anytime up until tomorrow (11 November).

Residents can still enter the window decorating competition organised by the Alsager branch of the Royal British Legion.

You have until tomorrow (11 November) to send your details to [email protected] to enter the competition.
