Life Between the Trails is a new local project based in Alsager exploring the connection between nature and wellbeing.
Life Between the Trails began from my own experience of witnessing how powerful simple time in nature can be for wellbeing. I've also shared more of this journey in my book Between the Trails, available on Amazon (https://amzn.eu/d/01fEflL5)
I have recently started running small nature-based wellbeing sessions in collaboration with Hub & Health Alsager, designed to provide a gentle, accessible space for people to slow down and spend time outdoors.
Research shows that spending time in nature can help reduce stress and support mental wellbeing, and these sessions offer a simple way for people to experience that in a supportive setting.
The first session will take place on:
Thursday 30th April
10:30am - 12:30pm
Hub and Health
Every two weeks.
The sessions are:
• Calm and low-pressure
• Focused on sitting in nature with invitation to guided nature based prompts to support noticing the environment and grounding
• Optional short, slow walks
• Suitable for adults, carers, and anyone who may benefit from taking some time out to support their wellbeing
•Non-clinical and not therapy-based
Places are limited to keep the groups small and manageable.
