Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with the theft and criminal damage at a cake shed in Rode Heath.

Cheshire Police say two boys aged 16 and two aged 18 were arrested in the Staffordshire area on Wednesday night (April 22) due to an unrelated incident and are helping police with their enquiries into both matters.

The theft and criminal damage at the small shop on Cherry Lane, Rode Heath occurred on the evening of Monday, April 20.

Bell's Pantry, who operate the cake shed, claim the culprits stole stock, damaged a shed and threw cakes down the road.

A Facebook post shared on Tuesday afternoon reads: "Thank you to everyone for all your support!

"You will never know how much it means to us as a family!

"So we've been working really hard to secure the shed and get a few bits out!"
