AFC Alsager head into cup clash in buoyant mood following ruthless first half midweek performance

Local Sport by Tom Avery 23rd Apr 2021

AFC Alsager go into tomorrow's cup clash with confidence sky high after a comfortable midweek win.

The Swans made it three wins in a row following the resumption of grass roots football earlier this month after they beat Leek 3-0 at the Alsager Sports Hub on Wednesday night.

First half goals from Chris Speed, Dan Ward and Jake Chadwick ensured the Swans got another three points to maintain their chase for the league crown.

The Swans, who haven't conceded in their last three games, welcome Walsall Phoenix to the sports hub for a cup clash, which kicks off at 2.30pm tomorrow (Saturday, 24th April).
