British Transport Police has highlighted how "dangerous" trespassing on the railway is after they received a report of children playing on a footpath crossing near Alsager Station.

BTP were notified at 2:53pm yesterday (Sunday, 29th November) that there were children playing near the station and enquiries into this incident are ongoing.

The project, which forms part of helping Alsager become a dementia friendly destination, included improved station signage, a dementia friendly awareness training session for station adopters and other community members.
