Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Here's a story about it here . It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Pikemere Primary School in Pikemere Road has its summer fair.

Meanwhile, Alsager Community Theatre is performing Shakespeare's comedy of mistaken identity and the folly of love - Twelfth Night in the courtyard of the stunning National Trust property, Little Moreton Hall.

Saturday, July 15th  

Alsager Music Festival gets underway as we revealed here with a big line-up of bands and musicians playing.

The festival is run by volunteers and any money raised is given to local charitable causes or used for next year's event.

Free programmes are available at several venues in the town, including The Lodge Inn, The Mere Inn, The Bar and the Lawton Arms.  

It's the final night of Alsager Community Theatre's production of Shakespeare's comedy of mistaken identity and the folly of love , Twelfth Night, continues at Little Moreton Hall continues (ticket details above).

The Mere Inn has Della and the Fellas live from 5pm 7pm and Malpractice from 9pm – 11 pm.

 Alsager Social Club in Longview Avenue has a Northern Soul and Motown night from 7.30 pm. Tickets are £5.

Sunday July 16th   

Alsager Music Festival continues with live music taking place at a variety of pubs and venues throughout the town.

The Mere Inn has Venture X from 5pm -7pm.

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
