It's the first weekend of August and a busy weekend ahead with a farmer's market, jazz concert in a church and live sport,

Friday, August 4th    

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Here's a story about it here It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Saturday, August 5th 

Rode Hall Farmer's Market is on from 9 am until 1.30 pm. The craft barn will be full of a wide variety of artisan crafts including some beautiful new crotchet work wooden houses while the courtyard kitchen will be open as usual serving breakfast baps, homemade cakes and lunches.

Dawson Dean will be playing live and the summer gardens will be open.

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Fancy watching some live football? Alsager Town aka The Bullets are at home to Winsford United with a 3 pm kick-off. Go and support your local team!

All Saint's Church in Church Lawton has a special concert. Jack Cockerill brings 'Jazz in the Church' to Church Lawton. Usually held in much bigger venues, this is a chance to see the show locally. Sunday, August 6th   

At Home Studio & Coffee, there's a yoga event - the 'Mudra Feeling' at 1.15 pm. Tickets costs £12. For more details, book a place at Home Coffee & Studio.

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
