It's a busy weekend ahead with a dementia café, karaoke, wedding fair and live music.

Friday, January 27th

The Dementia Friendly group's dementia café takes place at Alsager library from 10.30 am – 12.30 pm. The event takes place on the last Friday of the month. Contact [email protected]  

The Linley Tavern has a karaoke night. Whether you're a Jedward or Elvis we love you all getting up and having a go! It's also the landlady's birthday so there maybe free cake and balloons!

Two Knutsford wedding venues are hosting open days this weekend.

Colshaw Hall is a luxurious and exclusive Cheshire wedding venue. This Grade II listed hall is situated on a private country estate and has been lovingly restored by the Irlam family. Fancy some live football? Alsager Town aka The Bullets are at home to Maine Road with a 3 pm kick-off.

In the evening, there's a charity night with disco at Alsager Golf Club. All proceeds go to prostate cancer in memory of their members.

At the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue there's another of their popular video disco nights with a Soul and Tamla Motown music theme. There will be videos of performances by Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, The Four Tops and Mary Wells to name just a few shown. No entrance fee.

Sunday, January 29th  

Recently engaged and not sure where to start? Alsager Golf and Country Club has a wedding fair between 10am and 4pm. There will be cake makers, photographers, florists and room dressers and house wines will be available to sample from the bar and the kitchen will have samples of their delicious food. Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm. 

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
