It's a busy weekend ahead with a farmer's market, football and live music.

We have gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know!

Friday, October 6th 

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Here's a story about it here It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

In the evening, The Mere Inn has Stepping Lane playing at 8.30 pm. Should be a good night!

The Wilbraham Arms has the Lost Boys at 8.30pm.

Saturday, October 7th 

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

It's Rode Hall farmer's market at Scholar Green from 9 am until 1.30 pm with new stallholders and produce. There will be a wide selection of Rode produce including decorative gourds, chrysanthemums, kale and beetroot.

In the craft barn Himalayan Yak will have hand loomed shawls and blankets and Grateful Sheep with cosy wool rugs. Talented guitarist, Dan Toft, will be playing live and The Courtyard Kitchen will be selling homemade cakes and all day breakfasts.

At Alsager library, the Alsager Ukraianian Support Group has a 'conversation cafe' from 10.30 am until 11.55 am. All welcome.

Lawton Memorial Hall in Lawton Hall Drive, Church Lawton, has its 70th birthday celebrations are we revealed here The hall opened in October 1953 and to mark the occasion volunteers have an open day from 12 noon until 4 pm. Go along and join in the fun!

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are at home to Stafford Town with a 3 pm kick-off. Show them your support!

In the evening, The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has a quiz night.

Sunday, October 1st  

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
