It's the first weekend of December and here's lots of festive things happening!

We have gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know!

Friday, December 1st 

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Saturday, December 2nd

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Ukrainian Support Group has its Conversation Cafe at Alsager Library in Sandbach Road North from 10.30 am until 12 noon. Tea and biscuits available. All welcome!

Do you enjoy artisan markets? It's Rode Hall Christmas Farmer's Market at Scholar Green from 9 am until - 2 pm. All the barns will be full of artisan treats including luxury macarons, homemade pies, fresh pasta, chutneys, delicious cakes, festive meats and cheeses. There will also be mulled wine, mistletoe and mince pies!

The craft barn will be full of artisans selling jewellery, woven blankets, leather goods, Christmas decorations, natural soaps and ceramics and Rode Hall Silver Band will be playing festive favourites alongside the talented Smallwood School choir. The courtyard kitchen will also be open serving breakfast.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are away to Abbey Hey with a 3 pm kick-off.

Calling all Led Zep fans! If you love Led Zeppelin you'll love Led Into Zeppelin at Alsager Civic. John Angus Band is the perfect compliment performing original rocking blues songs. Tickets available here or contact Grove Music on 0161 484 0700

Sunday, December 2nd 

In Rode Heath, there's Community Carol Singing around the Christmas Tree at the junction of Heath Avenue and Sandbach Road at the Thurlwood end of the village (opposite the bus shelter). Wrap up warm, bring a torch and if you want, a hot drink. Carol sheets provided. 

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
