It's a busy weekend ahead with lots happening in Alsager.

Thursday, January 11th

Looking to win some cash to beat the January blues? The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has its Thursday quiz with £250 on the line! It starts at 7 pm and finishes at 9 pm.

Alsager Golf and Country Club jazz society has saxophonist Alex Clarke with the George King Trio at 8pm. The cost is £7 cash on the door .

Friday, January 12th

Looking for a book to chill with after a busy festive period? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Saturday, January 13th

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Animals in Need has its coffee morning at Alsager Civic from 9.30 am until 12 noon.

Alsager Ukrainian Support Group has its 'conversation cafe', Congleton area at Alsager library from 10.30 am until 12 noon. All welcome.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are away to Maine Road with a 3 pm kick-off.

Sunday, January 14th

The Manor House Hotel has a wedding open day from 11 am until 3 pm.

Monday, January 15th

Fancy getting fit as well as meeting new friends? Dance teacher, Mark Farrugia is at Alsager Civic with his Strictly Dance Fit classes from 6 pm until 7 pm. Here's a story we wrote about him here
